Applications

The hardware presented apparently accellerates the following sorts of applications:

ANSYS, LS-DYNA, AMBER, NAB, Gaussian

Accellerators

It is a seperate card that is not really usable by the UF HPC Center since we do not have room in our current nodes. We would need at least 2U nodes in order to fit them inside.

Latency

Because of orders of magnitude, latency issues go away with bigger problems.
